The Lower East Side Hawks Basketball Program is dedicated to empowering young athletes from the heart of Manhattan's Lower East Side. Our mission is to provide middle school and high school student-athletes with the opportunity to play basketball at the highest level, while also developing crucial life skills on and off the court. We aim to create a supportive and competitive environment where academic excellence, athletic ability, and strong character are the foundations of our program.
We are committed to helping each athlete elevate their game, with a specific focus on preparing them for the next chapter of their basketball journey—whether that be through college basketball or private school opportunities. Our program is free and open to all, offering a selective approach where only those who demonstrate the best combination of athletic talent, academic discipline, and personal integrity will represent the Hawks.
